My poison
Sadly life does not give you options. In fact it crams you with insufficient facts, to always have you craving for more.

Amen.
It seems to me that all that results from pursuing truth and wisdom is utter confusion.
And I think you may be right, having options in life is just an illusion.
But on a slightly more positive note, I think there may be more to life than we realize and although what we don't fully understand could turn out to be something unpleasant but at the same time it could equally turn out to be a pleasant surprise.
